Flames forward Gabadinho Mhango has hinted at his exit from South African Premier Soccer League (PSL) side, Bidvest Wits, due to lack of game-time. Gabadinho, who joined from Bloemfontein Celtic via Golden Arrows in 2016, was a key striker for Wits, helping them win the PSL title and other trophies.
Surprisingly, the former Nyasa Big Bullets hit-man has been struggling to regain his place in Wits’ starting line-up since last season, leading to a slump in form.
But speaking in an interview from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, where he joined the Flames’ squad on its way to Cameroon, Gabadinho said Wits Coach, Gavin Hunt, has not been using him following speculation that he is on his way out.
Gabadinho said several big PSL clubs have been chasing his signature and he is talking to one of them.
